AnimeSTL 2012, here we come!

Has it been a whole year since last year’s AnimeSTL/TornadoCon 2011? Between the tornados and the awesome costumes, we got our first dose of exposure at last year’s AnimeSTL event, and couldn’t have been more encouraged by the attendees’ reactions to our in-production games. We couldn’t believe how much of a buzz our stickers created throughout the con, inspiring so many people to find out more about the games we had in the pipeline. This year we have even more to talk about.
As you know, we released our first game, Stodgy Gents, in October of 2011, and it’s been amazing for us. We won the RiverFront Times 2012 Web Award for Best Local App (did we mention that yet? We didn’t mention that yet. Oh yeah, we’re totally an award-winning game studio). We’ve had thousands of downloads and dozens of iTunes reviews, but we haven’t gotten much opportunity to get our hands dirty and really tell folks about our proudest achievement en masse. So, we’re excited to say that we’re going to be manning our vendor booth at AnimeSTL 2012, in hopes to bring more excitement and attention to Stodgy Gents, as well as the other amazing games that we have currently in development.
Part of our way of thanking AnimeSTL and the folks attending is that we’ll be offering giveaways all weekend for people who visit our booth to tell us why they love Stodgy Gents. From stickers, to Stodgy Gents patches, to Happy Badger T-Shirts and Posters, we’re going to be the must-see freebie booth of the Con. If you’re going to be there, make sure to stop by, say hi, and sign up for one of our larger raffles to win the whole “Badger Bundle” prize pack, which could include anything from an iTunes gift card to a Super Nintendo Console… you heard us right.
